Paraphrase (Major Depressive Disorder)

Original text
Topic : Major depressive disorder (taken from http://www.allaboutdepression.com/dia_03.html)
Different people are affected in different ways by major depression. Some people have trouble sleeping, they lose weight, and they generally feel agitated and irritable. Others may sleep and eat too much and continuously feel worthless and guilty. Still others can function reasonably well at work and put on a "happy face" in front of others, while deep down they feel quite depressed and disinterested in life. There is no one way that people look and behave when they have major depression. However, most people will either have depressed mood or a general loss of interest in activities they once enjoyed, or a combination of both. In addition they will have other physical and mental symptoms that may include fatigue, difficulty with concentration and memory, feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, headaches, body aches, and thoughts of suicide.

Paraphrase text
Different people are affected by major depression in different ways such as having insomnia, weight loss and general feelings of agitation and irritation. Some people show the opposite signs like over hours of sleeping, over eating while continuously feel worthless and guilty. Even so, some people can veil themselves with a happy face in front of people however behind the veil shows their feelings of depress and disinterest in life. Major depression can’t be seen through the eyes alone even though majority will show symptoms either or combination of both depressed mood and general loss of interest in activities they once enjoyed. Furthermore, they will also show symptoms of physical and mental deterioration which may include fatigue, difficulty with concentration and memory, feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, headaches, body aches and thoughts of suicide.

Lacking if necessary skills for the modern workplace (problem1)

Having the necessary skill to use simple program in the computer is one of the skill that is lacking in a modern workplace. To solve this matter, most employers will most probably send their employee for intensive courses. There is a posibility that by attending intensive courses they may learn how to use the simple program or to improve their skills. By improving their skills in using simple programs, it can help to reduce the workload faster instead of relying on one person to do it.

Library or Internet?

Compare and contrast libraries and the internet as the two major sources of information for use in academic written work
When searching for materials for an academic writing, most students will either to search through the internet or search through the library as the major source of information. What is the factor that affects the difference between searching through the library or the internet as the major source of information?
One of the factors is conveniences. It is much easier to search through the internet as it has the search engine which allows students to search for information easily. However there is the question for the reliability of the resource found in the internet. Searching from the library on the other hand, the resource is much more reliable compare to what is written in the internet. It may be harder to search compare to internet sources but the reliability in the resource is certain as they are written by researchers who had proof read the research report before had it publish.
In term of time factor, it will be much more efficient for the students who travel in and out of the campus in comparison to the students who stays in the campus. For example, if a student have to travel about five kilometre a day to campus, considering the jam factor and all, much time will be wasted compare to searching the information thru the internet which can be done at home.
Considering the environmental factor, students prefer to work in a much more comfortable environment. Most students will prefer to work from home as there is the most comfortable place for them. Instead of stuck themselves in the library the whole day, it will be much more comfortable to be at home and can enjoy the relaxing feeling of being at home. In some cases, students prefer to have a quiet environment to work which they cannot obtain in their house. For example, their family is having a party and the noise in distracting the concentration of the student.
Researching through internet or the libraries has its pros and cons however, this will depends on the student on how they view it. Both can be a great resource in writing an academic writing work or other research work.

Is writing an arduous task?

Writing is something everyone does every day whether it is for work or for school. Is writing an arduous task? This depends on a person’s point of view. Some may prefer typing over writing and vice versa. But what is the reason for them to think that it is an arduous task?

It is not like writing is a bad thing as by writing can help one can learn faster and remember better compare to typing out the words and relying on the computer to fix your mistakes. Most people will think that typing is much faster compare to writing as it takes time to write every cursive and ever words clearly especially to those who are rushing for time.

To those who have a bad handwriting, typing is a life saver for them and the readers especially when it comes to official letter or document or even assignments. Typing can also help in all making the letter more align and easier to read. Typing mistakes or word adding can be done easily and with less mess compare to writing on a piece of paper. But this is only possible if there is a machine that can help with typing where else writing can be done at anywhere and anytime as long as there is a writing medium which is easier to find compare to a computer or a type writer.

Some might say “writing takes up a lot of energy”. This may apply to those who have more than 10 pages to write and of course it might cost more energy than typing them out. However, if it is a one or three pages thing, it is still possible for writing. Another factor that may cause them to say this may be due to laziness. With the technology wise of today, many people are getting lazier and lazier to even want to lift a pencil or find a paper.
Writing is not an arduous task depending on what it is needed for. It mostly depend on the person themselves to determine whether it is easier for them to type or to write. But not all things are able to be done by typing.

What is cohabitation?

Cohabitation defined as a living arrangement in which an unmarried couple lives together in a long- term relationship that resembles a marriage. Some couples prefer to cohabit instead of getting married as marriage will have a direct effect on a person’s personal property and finances.

Compare to a normal marriage, there are no formal state required that must be met before a couple can live together. Anyone can cohabit regardless of age or gender. In some cases, such as those involving lesbian or gay couples, or individual who are already married to another person, the law prohibits them to marry. Some may even want to test their compatibility before they commit to a legal union or they may want to maintain their single status for financial reasons.

In any case of the couples wanting to stop the cohabitation in the future, it can usually end without any involvement of the court or have any rule regarding property division. However, if the property were made jointly, dissolving the relationship might cause a little complication.

Legal or medical decisions cannot be made by the parties who cohabitates without a Power of Attorney nor can they receive any privileges or benefits that are normally granted to spouse. The state is issued by the family members not the partner in the events of death. Child support will still have to be given to the children if the cohabitating couples have a child and the paternity may have to be proved to declare the partner legally responsible for the child.

A mystery letter???? O.O

At exactly midnight on new year's eve, you receive an email labelled "Open Immediately". The really strange thing is that the email is apparently from your future self. What does it say?
Once I open the email that was written by my future self, there was only one sentence imprinted on it bold letters, “Happy New Year with laughter and joy”. What really entrances me was the design of the frame used in the email. It was a nice silver colour with designs of beautiful birds and leaves. It gives me a very peaceful feeling when I look at it. Then I think again, what was the meaning lay behind the words and the frame design and how this email did was send to me if it is from my future self? Is it a prank? Or is this just one of those spam mails? Thoughts after thoughts, I came to one conclusion, this is really freaky but still, at least I get to see something that is nice I guess it is worth while reading it even though it might be a spam or a prank. Besides, what that is written in it was just a simple greeting and not my future life or whatnot. Future is meant to be created not predicted and only the present can decide the future.
